A summer day

I was walking down Main Street last weekend and I couldn't help but notice the beautiful flowers that called to me from every which way. I paused for a moment and just drank in the beauty around me. I have never before felt such an awakening inside my soul. Surely there is much beauty on the earth. It is a shame many people never take the time to notice. I picked my favorite flower, a soft pink with white edges, and brought it home to put on my kitchen table. What a wonderful summers day!
